This policy explains what Yukju Mansin collects when you use Yukju Mansin, why, and how long it is kept. We are the data controller for everything described here. Payment data is handled by Paddle.com, which acts as Merchant of Record and as its own controller for that data — we never see your card details.
1. What we collect
- Birth details — date, time, place and gender. Sent to our server to compute your chart, and to Anthropic’s API to write the reading. We do not ask for your name.
- A chart key — a one-way hash of your normalised birth details. It lets you reopen a report you paid for without us holding an account for you.
- Your question, if you choose to type one, so the reading can address it.
- A visitor identifier — your IP address passed through a keyed one-way hash. We use it to count visits and to rate-limit abuse. We do not store the raw IP address.
- Purchase records — the Paddle order reference, product, amount and time, kept as our sales ledger and to process refunds.
2. What is stored, and why
Most readings are generated and streamed to your browser without being retained. Three things are stored, each for a reason:
- Reports you purchased. Kept under the hashed chart key so you can reopen them and so the text does not change between visits.
- Reports you chose to share. If you use the share button we save an anonymised snapshot at a random, unguessable address so the link works for whoever you send it to. Nothing is shared until you press that button.
- Preview caching. A generated preview is cached against the hashed chart key so the same chart does not pay the generation cost twice.
Reports are also saved in your own browser’s local storage so you can continue reading. That copy is on your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
3. Entering someone else’s details
A compatibility reading requires a second person’s birth details. Only enter them if that person has agreed. If someone else has entered your details and you want them removed, email us at melis_-_sa@hanmail.net and we will delete the relevant record.
4. Who else processes your data
- Vercel — hosting, storage and traffic analytics.
- Anthropic — generates the text of the reading from your computed chart. Your data is not used to train their models.
- Paddle.com — payment processing, invoicing and tax as Merchant of Record.
These providers operate outside the Republic of Korea, so your data is processed internationally, under the contractual safeguards each provider offers.
5. How long we keep it
- Purchased reports and purchase records: five years, as commercial and tax records require.
- Shared snapshots: until you ask us to delete them.
- Cached previews: up to one year.
- Visit and usage counters: up to one year, in hashed form only.
6. Your rights
You may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to provide it in a portable form, and you may object to processing. Email melis_-_sa@hanmail.net and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
Because we deliberately avoid accounts and names, a request is easiest to act on if you include the share link or Paddle order reference concerned.
7. Cookies and similar storage
We do not use advertising cookies. We use your browser’s local storage to keep your report, your access token for a purchased report, and the campaign tag of the link you arrived through. Vercel Analytics collects aggregate traffic data without identifying you.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children and purchases require you to be 18 or older.
9. Changes and contact
